Welcome from the Head

Head TeacherMy association with Brooklands School began, some 22 years ago, when I first visited and selected it for my own children. I felt then, just as I do now, that Brooklands is an outstanding School! I was delighted to join the teaching staff 15 years ago and now feel exceptionally privileged to have been appointed Head in September 2011 and to lead such a well-qualified, caring and dedicated staff. At Brooklands the nurture of each and every child in accordance with their individual need, is central to the ethos and philosophy of the School.

Brooklands is quite rightly renowned for its high educational standards and exemplary pastoral care of pupils and by combining the very best of traditional educational practice with a dynamic and contemporary curriculum, I believe the school will forge into the future with continued momentum. It is important to me that we build on our Christian foundation so that the core values of mutual love and respect guide and shape our School community.

At Brooklands we nurture children, so that they grow in knowledge and understanding of themselves, each other, and the world around them. Our aim is that children leave Brooklands as happy and confident individuals, eager for fresh experiences and challenges. We are proud of our children at Brooklands – they are our greatest ambassadors.

I do hope our website reflects something of the wonderful family atmosphere and encourages you to come and visit us. Children enjoy coming to school at Brooklands and one cannot help but be affected by their enthusiasm and joy in learning.

If you would like to see the school in action, please contact the School Secretary, Mrs Paula Davies, for an appointment – you are assured of a very warm welcome!

Yours sincerely
